POVERTY


               In the Philippines, many of the Filipinos experiencing difficulties. As I look to the environment. I have seen many children who are homeless and asking for alms. Maybe because they grow and live in the streets, they learn how to steal the things of others and the foods that sell by the vendor. As I heard from the news, some has no food to eat because the foods are so expensive and instead of buying foods to eat they preferred to buy rugby to smell so that they can’t feel hungry anymore. Because of that, a lot of person that lives in the streets become addicts and a lot of the killings and accidents occurred anywhere.


               A lot of politicians say that they will help the poor people to thrive from poverty. But what are the politicians doing? They are fighting to get the position they desired. And if they won and got the position, they do nothing to decrease the poverty that the people experiencing. Because as what I saw, instead the poverty will decrease, it increases. Especially now, many Filipinos are suffering because of the consecutive storms experienced by the Philippines. Because of these many people have no food to eat and no place to stay with. Like of what happens to my relatives, they live in Davao Oriental. They are one of the victims of the typhoon. They said it takes a long time that the government help them. Yet, I do not know the reason of why the arrivals of the foods were so delayed. Since the government know that a typhoon is coming, they should have prepared even a little help so that the people who are affected by the typhoon will not be suffer much.


                 If only we know how to follow even a simple order, do what we need to do, and do what we should do for the best of all, maybe there is no more in this place are suffering from difficulties and these place will experience peace at all.
